Which gaming mouse you have bro?, its need to configure in software of you gaming mouse by changing or editing you side keys and if you want scroll click to work in game also you all need to do, in software you keys will have names:
Forward /or MB4
Back /or MB5
Middle Click /or Scroll Click

so you need change or add keys "Fxx or Gxx" named you gaming mouse software like a:

F13/G13 - Forward/MB4
F14/G14 - Back/MB5
F15/G15 - Scroll Click

i will post how its look in logitech software  changing or editing keys is not macro so its legit,
if you have done thoose steps go into the game and try now hope it helps
*in mouse showed on gif that mouse has 4 side keys
