Actually yeah you can
For starters you need to connect the controller to the PC (obviously)
Then download a program called JoytoKey which basically maps the Keys from the PC to buttons on the PS3 (Its pretty straight forward but there are plenty of tutorials out there)

I personally do NOT recommend playing with a controller since this game is a port of a mobile game which will make controlling it on a controller harder (Or not get creative (see what I did there lol)
