Horse rugs are a Perplexing
Thing for several riders. Some riders don't feel the need to utilize them and
consider them an unnecessary accessory, while others can't imagine functioning
without them. What is the Reality? If you decide to utilize a rug, which would be
acceptable for your horse?

It's true that within their
However,
we must note that horses functioning in horse riding don't have the same
functioning conditions since the horses residing in their natural habitat. First
of all, horses training below the saddle are usually shaven, which impacts their natural protective layer against low temperatures. Most time when it is cold outdoors, these horses invest indoors, where they are not subject to reduced temperatures. The matter of another diet is crucial here. That is why
we can't expect them to have the immunity that their free brothers have. While
altering the horses' habits and surroundings, we will need to supply them with
protection against the negative ramifications of e.g. weather. For this very reason we
have various kinds of carpeting. Which type would be useful to your horse and
if to use it? We'll attempt to describe that.

In shops you can encounter these kinds of carpets:

Coaching -- this kind of rug is put on along with a
saddle. It will be ideal for colder days. We ought to mention that
training together must not be too exhausting, because your horse could have difficulty with losing heat surplus from your system.

Dry -- normally made from fleece another substance with moisture-absorbing properties. This type of carpets is usually
used after instruction so as to dry the horse. In shops, you can locate them as
     fleece carpeting.

Stable -- advocated for shaved horses. They
ought to protect the horse from heating too much, but at precisely the same time they
don't block air circulation, so the horse does not sweat. To be used in stalls.

Paddock -- to be used on paddocks. It will protect
your horse against the wind and rain. Made of materials easy to clean. This type of rug is ideal for paddocks on rainy days.
Mostly they are designed to be as waterproof as possible.

Fly -- used to protect the horse from insects.
Normally made from mesh material. This type of a rug is super helpful in summer time, in which horses are especially subject to insects' bites of all
     kinds.

Winter --
carpets using padding. To be used on a paddock
or in a non-heated stable. Usually it's possible to choose from a couple
thickness of padding for one version.

Shipping -- to be used to protect the horse
     during transport.

Another thing is to adjust the
Appropriate length. Namely, the way to choose proper dimensions for your own horse. Particular producers have different size markings. There's a principle where for components of length is the duration of the rug on the horse's back. This value is essential for choosing the right
size. Even in case you've got an S, M, or L dimensions, it describes the rug's span on the
horse's back. Of course, it is best when you're able to take a look at a chart when all the rug's dimensions are cited. Then you
can make confident a given size will fit your horse properly.

As you can
See, by using proper rug you can help your horse in managing unpleasant
Weather, insects, or protect him during transport. Additionally, You should not overdo
The whole rug thing. If you utilize them if they Aren't needed, you can disturb
Your horse's natural thermal self-regulation. But you need to remember
That with no rug once the weather is bad, you undermine your horse e.g. into a
Higher chance of getting cold.
